The Front Garden

Mowing, Trimming and Weeding.

We have been busy doing gardening in the front yard, trimming, weeding, and cleaning up yellow leaves from the orchids.  Potted plants need some water, especially the orchids and the Lilly Pilly.
The grass has been cut, and the lawn edges have been whipper-snipped too.  I think Rayner did a great job.  He trimmed the hedges under the cherry tree-winter sun, the hedges have established but not matured yet.

Monday the nineteenth of March was The Big Day for our family, it was a special occasion.
As always I like to see things are in order, including the garden.  I forced myself to do the front garden thoroughly this time because we are heading towards hectic weeks.   I am glad now the front yard looks acceptable, I can move on to the next.

The theme colour of the front yard is green and white, add a little touch of different foliage.

the twins Lilly Pilly, are not well, but they are better

What was The Big Day? What was it? I can tell you this, it's all good.  We all were very, very happy.  On Monday the 19th of March a beautiful baby girl has been born. She is our fourth grandchild, I am fourth time Nana.  Well done, Mel! Congratulations to Melanie and Lance, also the three grandkids, Mary Rose, Thomas, and Henry, who welcome their beautiful baby sister.

Another good news was that the result of visiting the specialists was pretty good,  we must focus on the good ones.  We both are doing well, and we will stay that way. Healthy eating and life style, that's what we need.
For me to be working in the garden, is being close to nature,  that relaxes me. I will keep up with it as the front yard is simple and very easy to maintain.

The most essential daily food that makes us well and healthy are fresh vegetables, fresh home cooking, and small serves.

After all the activities, in the evening we continued to be busy, well we have at least been occupied.  Without realising, that I sit in front of my PC, typing away and I can hear clearly another keyboard clicking rapidly not far from me.  That is what we do most of our days at our study.

Soon the grandkids will visit us, they will walk easier in the front yard and safe from the nasty weeds.

Have a  Peaceful  Mid Week to You  All.

Until Next Post
Susy
