Food Trivia

Good coffee begins not only with good coffee beans, but also good water.  Water, after all, constitutes 98.75 per cent of each cup of coffee.  The water must be freshly drawn and cold because heating and standing in tanks and pipes flatten its taste.  Naturally, soft water is best for coffee brewing, but artificially softened water should be avoided because chemical additives also adversely affect.
