A Salad and Ready Ravioli

Green Beans and Tomato Salad
Fresh green beans and tomato salad for a healthy and delicious meal. 
Boil the green beans for a few minutes, remove them with skimmer then immerse them in cold water.  Drain and keep aside,  the beans should be cooked enough, and yet still crunchy.  Now slice the red tomato thinly.  For extra flavour add some Spanish onion, cut finely.  Simple dressing for this salad is shredded fresh mints, lime juice and extra virgin olive oil, salt to taste.

Ready Ravioli:
Mushroom and Chicken ravioli served with intense tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.  Ravioli and the sauce were prepared the other day.  What I need to do is take the ravioli out from the freezer, boil it for eight minutes. 

Homemade pasta: The ravioli with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.

Friendly Friday kitchen: simple cooking for a substantial meal, delicious.

Spent a little time in my backyard to tidy up the roses, I gave them very light pruning today.
