Coming Home

Susan

It is a good time when the children to come home.  They have grown up, they have their own life, and yet they are generous enough to give us their time.  This month is my baby's birthday, this weekend she is home to celebrate.

Dinner    Before     Susan's     Birthday
Easy Home Cooking and Delicious

We had a relaxed evening after catching up, just like the olden days, everyone was busy with their own things.  The thing has never changed, that makes me feel good.  Everything is the same;  but different.

Relaxed Sunday morning, I got up early even though I don't do breakfast.  Everyone has to help themselves, so they did.  Rayner-my husband serves coffee in the morning, that what he does, and we like it that way too.

Sunday Lunch was great, I cooked for Susan early birthday dinner.  That was enjoyable, and of course, I baked the cake that is what I always do for the kid's birthday.

Susan's Birthday Cake with Sugared Violets

Sunday mid-morning, reading, taking it easy and enjoy the weekend. It is good to know that the kids were having a break from work.  Resting and spending time with us.

Canapés for everyone, delicious.  Small treat before Lunch.

Stories were told, laughing, talking, the dinner was finished at three.  It was enjoyable.  Thanks for the company kids.

They left for Melbourne after four, they are home by now.   I am at peace to see them happy and well.

Have a great week.   See you again soon.

  1. That pandan cake looks delish. There is pandan flavouring (possible even the actual leaves) in the Toko stores here (the asian grocers). I might try my hand at making one, one day. My baking skills are not on par with my cooking skills, though ... :(
