Lily Ann Baptism

Holy Sunday, Beautiful Sunday.
The baptism ceremony of Lily was sweet, short but solemn, with joyful noisy background by little people, Lily’s siblings.
Lily was so good, the holy water was pleasant for her, she was not sure maybe but she did not cry.  She looked serene on her baptism robe that has been worn by her mother forty years ago.

Afterwards, we had a party, and it was lovely, the children had a great time, about nine children were there, and they enjoyed their food also they played well together. The adults enjoyed each others' company, a time to catch up, and they enjoyed the lavish tea and cakes a very generous spread.  The family tradition is alive but better, I am sure it will continue, I am so proud to see Congratulations Melanie.

Now we are all back home, our journey was pleasant, took a little longer, but it was expected.  I Thought the house needed fresh air, I opened the windows, off I went to the backyard that I missed, and these beautiful things I found.  The white gardenia is in flower, red strawberries are ready to pick, and the blue moon roses are flowering for the second round.

More strawberries to pick from the potted fruit and from the patch on the ground.

 More Roses Are Flowering.

The baptism and the party were so good, Melanie was very pleased that everything went smoothly.  By saying that, Melanie had help by her sister Susan who did a great job to babysit the children and also assisted in getting things done.  It was good to see that the two sisters worked well together.

We are now doing the daily routine, I wish you all well, enjoy the midweek.  Thank you for having most of all the Beautiful and Holy Sunday and us.

Until Next Post
Susy
