December Garden (Continued)

The Front Garden
The Crucifix orchids have been flowering continuously since early this year, and now they have eighteen stems of flowers.  One has ten, and the other one has eight stems.
I am looking forward to seeing them when they are open in full bloom.  They adorn the entrance of the house, they are gorgeous to welcome our guess and visitors.

The Crucifix orchids (Epidendrum), both are spiking, there are eighteen of them.

Two potted Lilly - pilly plants are right, the one which was not too well last time, now has more leaves and it is looking good.  Soon they will look lovely sitting side by side.

Potted plants collections.  They need regular watering. The holiday is a time that you need friends to water them.  It is a must.

The leaves of the Japanese maples have changed their colour this time of the year, there is no deeper red maroon colour instead they are dull dark green and brownish.

A cubic meter of barks was delivered today at 2.42 in the afternoon.  What does it mean? It means 'work'.  We spent two hours to transport and to spread the bark in our backyard, we did such great work together.
The bark for mulching

In The Backyard

Mulching has to be done in the backyard.  This patch needs the mulch to help all the plants grow better, and it will look good as well.
The particular garden patch in the backyard is covered with
new mulch-the bark.  It looks good now.

Well, today most people are busy to prepare new year's party or going out for a special dinner, but our choice was working in the garden.  However, we will have the new year's eve celebration too.

Enjoy the new year's eve, happy celebration, be merry and keep safe.

Until Next Post
Susy
