Busy Busy

Remember the post about 'what a mess'.  Things are now looking better.  The maintenance has been done.  It is time to put things back to their places.  Indeed, we have been busy since Friday, I am hoping it will be finished by this weekend.

All the furniture was organised a while ago, thanks to the two people from carpet Choice.  They did a great job.

Crystal bowls and Vases are in their home, safe and sound now.  Easy to find and ready to use.

We don't need a lot of stuff, some things have to go, and I am so glad that we can minimise our needs.  From this experience, I learnt more, and I noted some, less clutter is better.

Glasses have to be washed and dried before putting them back, that was a lot of work, but it is essential to keep clean glassware in a cupboard.

After getting rid of some glassware, there are still a few, but now they fit in the cupboard better and neatly.

Porcelain and china dinnerware was washed,  one had to be careful to do this.
I can take my time to get the right things.  It is my weakness to enjoy beautiful dinnerware, in the stores I love to look at them, whether classic look or new ones.  Dinnerware represents 'Home'.

Everyone has unique dinnerware for special occasions.  What does that mean?  It means they are not used daily. People do that because they don't bother about the extra care.  Fair enough.
Use them, they are there, enjoy them and be joyful. Make up special occasions often,  maybe two or three times a month. I was told that if you don't use your chinaware regularly, there are chances that they will crack while you washing them.  That it would be a shame.

This is what I do for the family of two: I use the set by rotations,  the ones that are used this week, I keep them away, and next week I will use the other dinner set.  That way, the dinner set is used regularly and truly useful.

The white dinner set is my favourite colour, it is clean, and the food looks clearly on it.  It is acceptable for every day to Sunday best.

There is no more mess of these plates, bowls, cups and saucers.  Everything is at their own place, they are all clean and ready to use.  I have been having a fruitful weekend.  Soon enough, I will get the cooking going, something simple for a busy Sunday.

I don't have a recipe to be shared today, but I have inspirational words of the day to share:

Every day we meet people whose eternal destiny may be affected by what we do or say.
