Cheese - Tomatoes

The Perfect Partnership.

 Mature Cheddar and Parmesan Cheese.
Tomato and Cheese are a perfect combination.  You can have them in sandwiches, on dry biscuits, for prepared meals.  You can cook tomato, meat and cheese for pasta dishes.  Add on to corn chips, put on under the grill,  you can have simple nacho.  And for quick and healthy food, tomato salad and cheese is the way to go, just to name a few, of course, you can do a lot more.  Be imaginative you can make the best from the two ingredients.

There are a lot of different types of cheeses.  This cooking will only be using two kinds of cheese, mature cheddar and Parmesan.

The tomatoes: fresh is best, however tomato paste is needed, so fresh tomato and tomato paste or puree will be added in this cooking.

Meat Balls braised in tomatoes and served with pasta and garnished with Parmesan cheese is fundamental Italian cooking.  It is a favourite and excellent healthy dish for family meals.
For extra freshness put some cut up fresh tomatoes and chopped fresh herbs to serve.

Instant nacho is very easy, what you need are corn chips, grated cheese, chopped fresh tomato and garnishes: red onion, avocado and sour cream.  It is a treat for a quick lunch or snack.

You may agree with me,  that tomato and cheese are a perfect partnership, indeed,  combined to bring the best flavours.
It is a big bonus if you have fresh tomatoes from your own garden, I do have a vegetable garden, this year the plants are doing just OK, but I must improve my veggie patch to get a better harvest

After a great week, have a good weekend to you all.
