From Lemons To Potted Plants

The first week of Winter
It has been cold and wet,  but today it was a sunny day.  In the late afternoon, I took snapshots in my backyard.

The lime tree has a lot of limes this year, and we have more than enough to share them with friends.  Today we harvested some lemons just for us; hopefully, next year we will have more.

Potted herbs are acceptable,  potted oregano, sage and rosemary are looking good.  Soon they will die down or having a rest during the winter.

Other potted plants:  potted maple tree with pretty leaves, the potted gardenia is flowering,  I love the leaves, so green and shiny, absolutely beautiful.  The flowers of potted cyclamens definitely add colours to the garden.

The violets are flowering, I can see the beautiful colour among the green weeds.  More colourful leaves and also potted plants outside.

It was not too cold outside today, the sun was out, the Queen's Birthday Holiday is coming, Susan, Tris, and Alfie-the dog are coming home for a visit,  I do hope the weather will stay the same.

To everyone, I wish you all to have a lovely long weekend, happy Queen's Birthday Holiday.

Until Next Post
