It is summer where we live, and often it is too hot, just like today. Early in the morning is the best time to be working outside, that was what I did to water the garden, in the backyard. The grass is brownish as I don't believe in watering it, by mid-autumn it will be green again. Flower garden, fruit trees and vegetable garden do need lots of water for the plants to be able to grow well, and in summer they need regular watering. So far, they have been faithfully attended, and they show the result.
These picture of plants in the backyard.

The Plants
From the Citruses to Geisha Girls
Potted Apple, the fruit is protected from the birds, and the Magnolia tree shading the topiary.
The Wild Corner, unloved and neglected but growing well, so green and so lush.
The Vegetable Plants
Potted Eggplant and Potted Chilli
The self - sown tomato plants are doing alright, we may harvest them soon, suitable for salads. And the self-sown pumpkin looks extra healthy, the leaves are large and green. I have good hope, it is going to be fruiting and stay till harvest, I had it before.
Deadheaded for roses had to be done, and this Potted Hoya Hindu Robe has found the space, I think it is cool enough.
The red Mandevilla sanderi is my proud and joy right now, a disappointment for the peony rose, it is not flowering but living well.

Morning is the working time in the backyard. But to escape from it all is in IT, in the evening. Enjoying the tranquillity with the soft evening breeze and peacefully we are well protected by the Green Wall-the Tall Hedges. Yes, We Love Our Backyard.
Be Well and Be Happy Wherever You Are. We are Blessed.
Until Next Post
