SPRING

Springtime
Daffodil

Daffodil and   Jonquil
What is to you?  To me, it is an excellent time to be in the garden, particularly in the early season.
They are daffodils, new shoots of some plants and trees, the blossoms give amazing and sweet colour and a lot more, all good things are happening in the garden.

Mid springtime is different, but also good things are happening and at the later time is another story to tell.

I think this springtime is going to be a world of greatness and loving it.

In The Garden
The espalier apple is springing, and the peony rose is coming back from sleeping with pretty leaves.

Pretty Blossoms

One hanging basket which is sitting on a table outside is showing off the blue flowers, very pleasing.

Spring flowers are here, and a particular plant was planted of last year is having buds (no more label I am not sure what is the name)
The beautiful green euphorbia and the next plant has a blue flower.

Winter Roses?, but they are here in Spring.  Love the colour, Melanie, and it is back in flower,
Soft Colour
Lovely Dusky Pink
another one is pretty pink, and it is the very first time to flower, thanks, Jenny.

Citruses in this Spring
Yellow lemons are here in spring, and maybe throughout the year, mandarins are finishing this spring,  they are not the best. The limes are not green, now the colour is yellow as they are too long on the tree.  Pomelo is smallish and sour also bitter, it is not very good, but appreciate the fruits, for next time they will be better

Some Aphids on Rose Bush.

Very Nasty Aphids on the rose plant
Roses bush is showing off the leaves, beautiful bronze colour, lush and full, very encouraging until I saw millions of aphids congregating on a branch of the rose plant.  Sad so sad, dear Oh dear, I must ask Irene what to do.

Potted  Ficus And Lily Pilly Plants
A reminder of the winter frost, the leaves got burnt.  I was advised, let it be for now but prune and tidy up in warm weather.  Well, hopefully, the warm weather is coming soon.  Caring and fixing the sad plants are what we do best during springtime.

The leaves are dry, got burnt from the frost.

The Lilly Pilly plants have suffered from the winter frosts, now it is time to trim and to care for, however, we have to wait when the weather is warmer in this springtime.

Weeding is always there, regardless it is spring or another season, but thanks to the rains that help the job much easier this time.

A lot of weeds and there are more

Load bags of Fertilisers, blood & bone, slag bites are there, ' more work in the garden'.  The dream of a healthy garden could be achieved.
Plant food.

Seedlings and Potted Flowers.  A treat for the front garden, white and cream flowers added yesterday, looking forward to seeing the beauty around Christmas.
Snapdragon and Pansies.

It is blessed to have the time, it will be more news this spring, in the garden.  Red large tomato we love to have. Now growing the tomato from seeds, and I hope it is going to work.

Other good things about spring, from the garden, these flowering orchids adorn inside the house. These easy-care Cymbidium orchids please the family, so pretty.

White Icy Cymbidium
Red Cymbidium

Phalaenopsis Orcdiss
Special care and attention are needed for this genus, how lucky I could be that out of nine I have one flowering

A lot more greens are growing in the backyard, the herbs getting up from winter resting, the wild weeds celebrate the rains and most of all the violent flowering beautifully.
English Violet

The English Violet from Joan, thinking of you,  they are everywhere flowering love the purple colour, the petal is so delicate. It's so perfect for dressing any cakes.  Gorgeous!
