VEGETABLES - GARNISHES
Using and cooking vegetables in my kitchen.
Vegetables or salads are the first priority in our family diets, various type of cooking is prepared to make the dishes more enjoyable.  Often, it is cooked-boiled and dressed and also served fresh as salads.

Lotek (Vegetable Salad)
Fresh vegetable salad, mix with the dressing, (peanuts and spices)

Radicchio - pan-fried for salad, dressed with balsamic vinegar, and sliced golden tomato garnished with fried basils thanks to Ann and Max, the tomato was the fresh harvest of their garden.

Stuffed Baked Pumpkin
Find the recipe at an older post, type: using oseng terong to search.  It posted under Easy and Quick Cooking.  Javanese cooking, a delicious eggplant dish.

Washed endives, cooked-boiled and pureed.  Add butter to the pureed endives.  Delicious bitter lettuce to serve hot with anything you fancy.


Fresh greens, with green chillies, braised with coconut milk-sayur lodeh.

Fresh cucumber for a car, Herb Butter is ready for winter, add in cooked vegetables to serve.





  A beautiful vegetable collection. Ready for a composed Salad.

For the composed salad, using what you have that is the way, I have all these beautiful leafy green, add cured meat. The preparation is involving frying the meat and egg.  The plan is to make the composed salad as a main meal.

 From prosciutto to chorizo which is chopped and ready to pan fry.

Love the composed salad to be served with sourdough bread.  Let the bread shine and complement the dish. White soft bread is as good if the sourdough is not available.

The egg is deep-fried (French-style deep-fried egg), not boiled.  The dressing is a mustard dressing, add fresh herbs and olive oil.

Mushroom serves as a Salad.
Pan-fried or roasted and garnished with grated carrots is delicious.

Vegetables are cooked throughout the year in my kitchen, we enjoy them with their deliciousness.  You may like to cook these vegetable dishes, at least one of them, ideas for you to have vegetables with the difference.  Have fun cooking!

It has been a good season this Autumn, now we have to welcome the winter with enthusiasm.
