The Kitchen is Closed

The weather was pleasant enough, and we fit to work.  Tidy up the garden was taken place.  We did together working outside and inside.  I thought preparing yeast dough for baking would be the best today.  One for pizza and the other one for sourdough bread.

The Pizza.
Kabana and Egg Topping.

The dough was a rather heavy, but it suited as the topping was pretty solid too, kabana, poached egg, tomato and two kinds of cheeses, Parmesan and Tasty cheese.

Freshly Baked Pizza
Home-baked pizza is always better, you can have flavours as you like it, this pizza has a special topping, which is not available in the shop.

To Serve
Fresh Leafy Salad was to complement the Pizza

Delicious pizza for lunch, a treat after physically working hard.  It was acceptable.

Beautiful Bread for the Brave!
Sourdough Boule.

It looks so rustic as what sourdough bread should be, and the crumb was good too.  It worked out so well, we kept the bread for supper, as we had a delightful food and drinks instead of a sitting dinner.

It has been good to do home cooking throughout the year, and the two baking was the last of cooking for the year 2016.  I declared the kitchen is closed.  NO More Cooking for Now.

January the sixth is the last festivity, it is the Epiphany, the kitchen is open again.

Until Next Post
