A Sweet and Savoury.


Cara Bikang - Javanese Sweet.

It is a sweet rice cake with coconut and flavoured with pandan leaf.  You could make with different flavours.  Chocolate or vanilla cara bikang are delicious too.
I think it is not too bad for my first attempt to make mini cara bikang with pandan flavour.

It worked alright, but I don't have the recipe for it.

Savoury
Pancakes Pie
Using pancakes instead of pastry for this pie, and it has kale, eggplants, cheese and eggs.  It is a vegetarian pie.

Cooking the Pie
Put the pancakes on a pan,  place the eggplant on top, and add the filling mixture over.  Cover with another pancake to enclose the filling.  Cook both side on the stove over medium heat until golden brown.

What you need for the pie are pancakes, and the filling-so improvise yourself what you would like to have.  The recipe is not required.


Cooking is still going on in my kitchen, I hope this easy pie cooking will give you an idea.  Cook on top the stove instead of in the oven.
