Easter 2013

MY Family.
Easter 2013 is very significant for me, my children and their families were home to celebrate Easter with us.  Jane is my second daughter, who arrived on the 27 of March, from the Netherlands,  it was a journey for her as she came with her first child, baby Milo and her husband Ed, they stayed a week also with us.  Susan, my third daughter, got home on Easter Saturday, and Melanie, my first daughter and her family, came on Easter Sunday. It was a very happy gathering, a short day really, because after the Easter Dinner,  in the late afternoon Melanie and her family had to drive back home to Melbourne.  But indeed it was a lovely day to us all.

EASTER   TIME -  EASTER   WITH   US
Baking and individual cooking dishes are always there, savouries and sweets from rice, pastry, meat and brioches.

BEFORE    EASTER
Waiting and receiving Jane's family, the long journey from the Netherlands, we set up a pleasant place for them, so they could have proper rest and privacy at their own time during their stay.

Breakfasts with Milo were fun.  He loves his food, he enjoys snacking all the healthy diet which his mother prepares them so well.

Milo is a good eater, I am sure he always loves his food at any time.
EASTER   MORNING
Easter Breakfast, Milo loved to play with the Chocolate Easter Bunny

Time to catch up time to play.  Milo with his pop and his papa were having fun with a guitar and the toys.

It was good to see all the grandkids, the girls and the whole family together, and they had a great time. A convenient feast we had but enjoyable.

EASTER   2013 - HAPPY  EASTER

An enjoyable Easter Dinner and the grandkids enjoyed it too, but I knew that they could not wait to do the Easter eggs hunting in the afternoon.

The adults had fun to crack the eggs . . . . ., who is the winner????
Jane, her husband Ed and Lance-Melanie's husband.

It was raining, the Easter eggs hunting took place inside the house, well it was not too bad, still fun to do for the grandkids.

Thank you, girls, for the Easter decorations, the beautiful fresh fruits and good bottles of wine that made the Easter celebration better.

In the back yard.
A little time to visit and play in the back yard, fresh air is always good for us, the grandkids loved to run around outside.

SEE   YOU   ALL   AGAIN

Time to go,  Melanie's family left for Melbourne in the afternoon, and we all said: see you again in Mt Martha, a holiday weekend.

Jane stood at the gate,  sending off to wish them to have a good trip home.

After everyone has left, the house becomes so entirely, a lot of time I don't believe that the children and grandkids have been home.  Indeed it becomes so empty, but I am not as lonely as they are always with me in my heart.  I am blessed.

Two days later,  we both geared up to go to Mt Martha to meet the children, grandkids and of course Tristan, Susan's boyfriend.  It was a lovely weekend.  Thanks, Girls.

Another happy family gathering, we enjoyed the fresh air, the beach, the lovely food, from dinner, breakfast and lunches.

The weekend In Mt Martha is next, stay tuned.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Susy
