Cake Pops

School holidays and the grandkids are coming for a visit.  A treat for them is the cake pops, I am sure they love them.

Melanie suggested that moist milo cake would be great for everyone, so I did bake the cake (recipe is in an older post).  It is coming handy, as I could put the cake pops on it.

From the backyard, I harvested some pomelo fruits, and this year they are larger, maybe the grand kids can have a taste.  Fresh fruits to share, I know that they love their fruits.

However, the cake is still their treat.   It is going to be special days, we can do things together; hopefully they will have fun with us.

Baby Milo is two years old today, he is a big boy now, he could have the cake pops as well, but he lives in the Netherlands with his mama and papa.

Via Face Time, we were able to wish him a happy birthday. We talked a little and caught up.  The picture was so bright, Milo looked so pleased, and of course, we sang happy birthday to him. Thanks to modern technology.

Saturday the fifth of  July is his party which is going to be in the park.

I hope the weather is good and having fun with his thirty guests. Unfortunately, the party was cancelled due to the bad weather.

Melanie and the grandkids stayed for two nights, we had a good time with them, we visited a park, and everyone enjoyed the playground.

The adult loved the pomelo salad that I prepared, but the grandkids were happy enough with cake pops.  I think Mary Rose likes to try to make some during the holiday.

They reached home in Melbourne safely, it was three hours journey as they had to stops on the way.  I am sure they will have more fun during the school holidays.

Until Next Post
